JoLynn Huff

JoLynn Huff went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2021. JoLynn is survived by her beloved Husband, Gary Huff; children, Rufus Orr Jr., Kimberly McKenzie (Karleo), Terry Orr, and Nicole Huff; sister, Barbara Ann Lacey and brother, Lilton Poindexter Jr.; grandchildren, KateLynn Orr, Aaliyah Huff, Karleo McKenzie Jr., Elizabeth Jackson, Victoria Jackson, Karly McKenzie, and Braiden Orr; mother-in-law, Jean Huff Williams; sisters-in-law, Pamela Huff, Barbara Huff and Susan Komora; brothers-in-law, Steven Huff (Nafeesa) and Edward Smart; aunts, Mary Jefferson (Phillip) and Callie Benson.

JoLynn Huff was born on July 3, 1955, to Lilton Poindexter Sr. and Leila Wright (Poindexter). She lived in Cleveland, Ohio, where she accepted Christ at an early age.

JoLynn was employed at Mr. Coffee for 28 years, from 1972 to 2000. She also was employed at Swagelok for 17 years, from 2000 to 2017, until she retired.

JoLynn loved spending time with her family and friends. She always had the family over for birthdays, holidays, and time in between.

JoLynn loved attending the yearly, Richardson-Pitts-Poindexter Family Reunions. In June of 2000 and 2019, she organized and hosted the family reunion in Cleveland, Ohio.

She especially enjoyed going to special outings with her friends. JoLynn was an avid bowler and was on a bowling league for many years. She loved cars and always had it sparkly clean. JoLynn enjoyed watching the Cleveland Brown’s football games.

JoLynn was the Secretary of the church Women’s Ministry.

On Monday, October 11, 2021, the Lord called JoLynn Huff home.

JoLynn was preceded in death by her parents Lilton Poindexter Sr. and Leila Wright (Poindexter), her beloved sister Patricia Poindexter, and beloved brother Jerome Simpson.

JoLynn is survived by her husband, Gary Huff; children, Rufus Orr Jr., Kimberly McKenzie (Karleo), Terry Orr, and Nicole Huff; sister, Barbara Ann Lacey and brother, Lilton Poindexter Jr.; grandchildren, KateLynn Orr, Aaliyah Huff, Karleo McKenzie Jr., Elizabeth Jackson, Victoria Jackson, Karly McKenzie, and Braiden Orr; mother-in-law, Jean Huff Williams; sisters-in-law, Pamela Huff, Barbara Huff and Susan Komora; brothers-in-law, Steven Huff (Nafeesa) and Edward Smart; aunts, Mary Jefferson (Phillip), Callie Benson and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

JoLynn will be greatly missed by her many family, friends, and church members.
