John C. Green, 76, longtime resident of Iowa City, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, where there will be visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his memory to support causes important to John and his family.
