Iris Chamblin Whittington

Iris Chamblin Whittington, age 89, of Laurel Park, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Four Seasons Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina.

A celebration of Mrs. Whittington’s life will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home in Hendersonville, North Carolina.  Iris will be laid to rest next to her late husband at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida, where a graveside service will be held at a later date.
