Harry Edward Wehde, 82, of Cedar Bluff, Iowa, passed away July 31, 2025, at the University of Iowa Medical Center in Iowa City. Born July 14, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, Harry graduated from Tipton High School in 1961 and earned a teaching certificate from what is now the University of Northern Iowa. He taught at Olin High School before dedicating his life to farming in Cedar Bluff.

Harry married Eileen Marie Wood in Tipton on August 6, 1964. He was an avid sportsman and devoted family man, known for his resourcefulness and love of the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife; daughters Jean Reynolds and Pat Hipple; sons Ed and Jim Wehde; sister Shirley Teasdale; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Hartsock, and other extended family.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 4, 2025, from 9–11 a.m. at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service and noon luncheon at First United Church of Christ. Private burial will take place at Evergreen Hill Cemetery.
