Harold L. Unland
Harold L. Unland, 95, of Springfield, died at 8:24 am, Monday, January 23, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 14, 1927 in Mt. Pulaski, IL, the son of Edward and Helen M. (Hun) Unland. He married Wilma “Jean” O’Neal and she preceded him in death. He married Doris Blakeman and she survives.
He is also survived by two children, Ronald Unland of Springfield and Tammie (Mike) Milburn of Dawson; stepdaughter, Dawn (Gary) Beckman eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and five step grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Edwin Unland and one sister, Frances Kirchgesner.
Harold retired in 1987 from Pillsbury Mills. He was a United States Navy veteran. He loved golfing and fixing any type of motors, including cars and lawnmowers.
Private services were held.
