Guy Edward Pressley

It is with great sadness that the family of Guy Edward Pressley announces his passing on Monday, February 21, 2022.
Guy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jean Bashaw Pressley; children: Neil (Shanna) Pressley and grandchildren Savannah and Sydney; Amy (Tim) Giles and grandchildren Kaylee Giles, Rachel Sitton, and Ryan Sitton; and Melissa (Mark) Miller and grandchildren Hannah Claire, Harrison, Haven, and Heidi. His siblings are Hazel Reid, Gene (Kay) Quesinberry, and Ann (Guarry) Rogers.
Guy’s grandchildren were the joy of his life and he taught them many things. He enjoyed serving God and others. He had a long career at Carolina Power and Light.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at First United Methodist Church, 204 6th Ave. West, Hendersonville, North Carolina 28739. Graveside services will follow at Forest Lawn funeral home, 538 Tracy Grove Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28792.

When we joined the Newport First Methodist Church years ago, we remember the kindness and hand of fellowship extended to us through Guy and family. The Pressley’s were servant leaders and always helping others.
