Gloria R. Campo

Gloria R. Campo, age 89 of Aurora, IL formerly of West Chicago, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Bickford of Aurora. She was born on July 28, 1931 in Springfield, MO the daughter of Benjamin and Bena (Jacobs) Freidinger.

Gloria was united in marriage to Mr. Ralph A. Roecker and they spent many years happily together until his passing in 1978. She was then united in marriage to Mr. Vito Campo who preceded her in death in 1992. Gloria was employed by Glenn Ellyn School District as a kindergarten and first grade teacher for 34 years. She was a long time and active member of Wheaton Bible Church. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Gloria is survived by her children, Ross (Betty) Roecker of LaFayette, CO, Jeanie (Larry) Savage of Yorkville, IL, and Kathleen (Richard) Jaros of Winfield, IL; her 7 grandchildren; and her 6 great-grandchildren.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Bena Freidinger; her first husband, Ralph A. Roecker; and her second husband, Vito Campo.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Campo will be private.
