Gina Danielle Moritti

Gina Danielle Moritti, age 47 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Avantara Aurora in Aurora, IL. She was born on December 31, 1975 in Joliet, IL the daughter of Eugene Daniel and Laura Alma (McCauley) Moritti.

Gina loved doing puzzles, computer games and was vicious at playing solitaire on the computer. She also enjoyed playing games with her family. Gina was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Gina is survived by her parents, Eugene Daniel and Laura Alma Moritti of Yorkville, IL; her sister, Susanne Elise (Karl) Angerer of Evanston, IL; also her nephew, Kai Angerer and her niece, Coraline Angerer both of Evanston, IL.

She was preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Elizabeth Blazek on July 23, 2009.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Bristol, IL.

Friends may visit from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Prader Willi Syndrome Foundation, with checks payable to FPWR, 340 South Lemon Avenue #3620, Walnut, CA 91789. Please include Gina’s name in the note section of your check.
