Genevieve Yvonne Moutray Reimann

Genevieve Yvonne Moutray Reimann, age 93 of Sandwich, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Sandwich Rehabilitation Center in Sandwich, IL. She was born on August 12, 1928 in Scottsbluff, NE the daughter of James and Charolotte (Carmicheal) Godbey.

Genevieve was united in marriage on August 24, 1946 to Ralph Moutray Jr. and they spent the next 49 years happily together until his passing on July 13, 1996. She was later united in marriage on September 10, 2005 to Leonard Reimann and they spent the next 6 years happily together until his passing on November 8, 2011. Mrs. Reimann was employed as a Dental Assistant for many years. She was a member of the Calvary Church in Naperville, IL. Genevieve was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Genevieve is survived by her children, Cathy (Bruce) Erickson of Mears, MI and James (Renee) Moutray of Newark, IL; her step-daughter, Jerice Reimann of Downers Grove, IL; her four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Ron Mildon of CA; also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Charolotte Godbey; her husbands, Ralph Moutray Jr., and Leonard Reimann; also her three brothers, Jack Mildon, Jerald Godbey and Ron Mildon.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Calvary Church, 9S200 Illinois Route 59 in Naperville, IL. Interment will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.

Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Church in Naperville, IL.
