Gary L. Schall, 78, of Anamosa, passed away July 28, 2023. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A graveside committal will follow the service then a luncheon at the Cedar Memorial Family Center.

Gary was born June 21, 1945, in Fort Dodge, to Edward and Emma (Westmorland) Schall. After college, Gary enlisted in the Marines and served during Vietnam. He then went to work in the public health sector.

Those left to cherish Gary’s memory are his wife, Sheryl; mother, Emma; brother, Larry (Karen) Schall; children, Debbie (Tim) Weber, Carrie (Seth) Browning, Michelle (Josh) Lawless and Chad (Wendi) Pearson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
