Franklin D. Morris

Franklin D. Morris passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at Avita Health System-Galion Hospital.

He was the son of James E. and Stella (Rose) Morris and was born on September 25, 1936. Franklin was a sports fan, Cleveland Browns and Baker Mayfield being his favorite, OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians. He loved residing at Galion Pointe Assisted Living with a loving staff, nurses, physical therapists and enjoyed walking.

He is survived by his siblings, Donald Morris, Shelton (Brenda) Morris, both of Owensville, Kentucky, Sandra (Alva) Wharton and Linda (Ronald) Herndon, both of Galion; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Seven sisters and two brothers preceded him in death as well as his parents.

A private graveside service will be held in Mansfield Cemetery. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
