Elijah Emmanuel Anthony James

Elijah Emmanuel Anthony James, 24, of Sherman, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. He was born on August 27, 1997, in Springfield, the son of Todd L. James and Andrea Arena-James.

He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Serafina and Gigi James, both of Sherman; two brothers, Isaac (Emily Hergert) and Aaron James, both of Sherman; and grandfather, Roger James.

Elijah was a partner in his family’s business, Wrecked Cars, Inc. He enjoyed listening to country music and going to concerts. He absolutely loved the great outdoors. Elijah especially enjoyed driving his truck with his dog, Baby; riding his bicycle on RAGBRAI every year with his mom and sisters, and working out at the gym with his brothers.

Cremation will be accorded by Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Memorial Gathering: 2 – 4 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
