Dino Leventis, Age 91, of Chicago and formerly of Athens, Greece. Beloved husband to Marie, nee Ginakakis, Leventis for 65 wonderful years. Devoted father to Vivian Leventis (George Halkias), George (Pam) Leventis, Conni (John) Tasiopoulos, and Cindi Papasotiriou. Cherished grandfather to Dino (Lucy), Maria (Kayrus), Dean (Paige), Danielle, Alexander, Katie (Matt), Lauren, Penelope, Sammy, and Nicholas. Loving great grandfather to Kyra and Rhea. Dino owned and operated a top insurance agency for over 40 years with Aegon Insurance Company. He was a proud Korean War Veteran in the U.S Army, a devoted member to the Hellenic Masonic Lodge #1084 for 50 years, the American Legion in Chicago and a member of AHEPA Chicago Chapter. He was an amazing husband, father, wonderful grandfather and role model to all who knew him. He was someone that was always calm, collected and always had a positive outlook on life. His life was full and was the result of hard work, patience, and persistence. His constant optimism will continue to bring out the best in us. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at SS. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 1401 Wagner Rd, Glenview, IL 60025 from 11:00am to 11:30am. The funeral service will be held at 11:30am. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie IL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SS. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church.
