Diana Lea Burg, 75, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private family inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Diana was born on October 1, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Gayle (Couser) Kupps. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Lee Burg on September 21, 1991, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Diane loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by four children, Tara Walvatne, Carrie (Eric) Kroymann, Jon (Amy) Burg, Joe (Kim) Burg; grandchildren, Kenady Walvatne, Payton Kroymann, Emersyn Kroymann, Corbin Burg, Koda Burg, Alexandria (Cody) Norden, Hunter Burg, and Tim Farmer; and her special pet, Izzy; and loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded by her parents, spouse Ken, two sisters Karen Cosper and Gloria Hintz, a brother Dennis Kupps, niece Kim, and a nephew Jason.
