David Boyd Jardine, father, Husband and Grandfather passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, in Las Cruces, N.M.

He was born on Feb. 5, 1939, in Owatonna, Minn., to Joseph Jardine and Dorothy Daniels Jardine. David graduated from Owatonna High School in 1957 and earned an associate degree in mechanical drafting from Dunwoody Industrial Institute in 1967. He worked for Rockwell Collins and FMS in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before retiring in 2001.

He moved with his wife Judy to Las Cruces, N.M., in 2004, where they continued to travel in the southwest, Mexico and Europe.

David is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judith Steinbauer Jardine; two sons, Bartholomew (Lien Le) Jardine of Seattle, Wash., and Christopher (JoAnna Klein) of Minneapolis, Minn.; and two grandchildren, Olivia Fu Sai Jardine and Ronen Bartholomew Jardine of Seattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Benjamin David and Andrew Joseph.

The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at St. Albert the Great Newman Parish. The burial will take place at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna, Minn.
