Daniel Keith Novak was born on November 6, 1951. Dan died peacefully in his sleep Friday, Oct 24 when he laid down for his nap.

He would light up any room with a joke or even a story. He was a lover of the outdoors– fishing, hunting, looking for morels, and more recently he loved watching the birds that come to feeders.

He is survived by his daughter Crystal Novak; grandsons Keegin and Jacob Novak, as well as Ian Villa; his long-term significant other Kelly Lane; stepdaughters Jennifer Gulick and Brittney Lane; father John (Lois) Novak; sisters Cyndie (Bob) Nelson, Lori (Ruppert) Ellis; and long list of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Jacob Novak and mother Mary (Bill) Bowser.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
