Cynthia Mae Gribble

Cynthia Mae Gribble, age 61, of New Philadelphia, passed peacefully, Thursday, May 19, 2022, while surrounded by her family in her daughter’s Dover residence, following a period of declining health.

Born on February 22, 1961, Cindy was a daughter of JoAnn Baus McCoy of Dover and the late Gerald Herron.

She was a New Philadelphia High School graduate and spent many years as a home health caregiver.

In her free time, Cindy enjoyed crafting, fishing, spending the summer months by her pool, caring for her dogs and being with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Cindy is survived by her daughters, Melissa Herron of Dover and Tanea (Spencer) Levengood of Mineral City; her step-daughter, Heather Gribble of Akron; her grandchildren, Holden, Kamora, Jansen, Shelby, Bridget, Jaylin and Justus. Completing the family are her siblings, James (Deb) Herron, Tammy (Dwayne) Addleman, Kelly (Mickey) Herron, Jan (Jennifer Simon) Herron, Charles (Rachel) Herron, and Jamie (Melissa) Herron as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Gribble; a brother, Kim Herron; and her step-father, Don McCoy.

A graveside service celebrating Cindy’s life will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 10:30 AM in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover where she will be inurned with her husband, Eric.
