Chris Ponnet, Catholic priest who served COVID patients and opposed the death penalty, dies
Chris Ponnet, who often served as the lone visitor to hundreds dying of COVID-19 and presided over an annual service honoring the unclaimed dead, died Oct. 7. He was 68.
