Cheryl Diane Draheim (77), born on October 29,1947, in Onawa, IA passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, in Columbus, NE, after battling Parkinson’s Disease.

Cheryl never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need. Her love for animals and her family was unwavering and defined her compassionate spirit.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Nadine Rowland (Newcastle, NE) and her sister Faye Rowland.

She is survived by her brother Craig (Mary) Rowland Omaha, NE, ex-husband David Draheim Iowa City, IA, daughter Diane (Steve) Langton Duncan, NE, son Shane (Christy) Draheim Hampstead, NH and grandchildren Justin & Matt Rohloff, Alexis & Rueben Draheim and Stefanie Jay.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, starting at 2:00pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3205 12th St in Columbus, NE. The family would like memorials (in lieu of flowers) to be made to Auxiliary #1834 to be used for Parkinson’s research & education.
