Charles Roger Brooks

Charles Roger Brooks, age 81 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at the Spring Landing in Naperville, IL. He was born on October 4, 1941 in Oak Park, IL the son of Donald E. and Mae C. (Triantes) Brooks.

Mr. Brooks was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ in Yorkville, IL. Charles was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Charles is survived by his children, Scott (Cherrie) Brooks of Milwaukee, WI and Bethany (Matthew Harbour) Genenbacher of Yorkville, IL; Kevin Genebacher, who was like a son to him; his eight grandchildren; also his faithful companion, his dog Winston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. and Mae C. Brooks; his daughter, Jennifer Simonson; his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and William Larson.

Interment will take place in the Forrest Park Cemetery.
