Cecilia Dorn, nee Cass, 87, of Palatine, Illinois passed away peacefully on June 17, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Donna (Edward) Molony, Kathleen (Francisco) Ponce de Leon, Mary Eva, Edward III (Kim), Linda (Tom) Chernesky, Robert, Stephen (Michelle), John (Renee), Brian (Dawn), Jeff (Jen), Michael, Scott (Clare), Dave (Jen), James (Liz), Mark (Tiffany) and Daniel (Krystine). Proud grandmother of Michael, Megan, Jack, Daniel, Alyssa, Ryan, Jake, Annie, Natalie, Emily, Rosemary, Michele, Kristi, Matthew, Nick, Joey, Tommy, Alexis, Ava, Amber, Johnny, Jason, Brian, Nicole, Jordan, Emerson, Will, Alex, David, Charlie, Luke, Violet, Ashley, Ben, Matthew, Grace, James, J.T., Kate, Ella, Tyler, Mackenzie, Aubrey, Daniel and Aspen. Cecilia will be missed by many friends and family. She was a devoted member of St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church and cherished her time as a grandmother to her 45 grandkids showing up to every family event with her specialty dish – meatballs! Visitation Wednesday, June 22, 2022 9 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine.
