Carol Hurt, age 86 of rural Iowa City died Wednesday, December 11, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 10:30 am at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oxford, followed with burial at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery near Oxford. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday at Gay & Ciha Funeral Home in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Carol’s memory to the Stead Family Children’s Hospital c/o University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
