Bruce A. Yenni

Bruce A. Yenni, 65, of New Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Amberwood Manor at New Philadelphia, following a period of declining health.

Born in Dover, he was the son of the late Donald A. and Edna I. (Haver) Yenni. A 1974 graduate of Dover High School, Bruce had retired from General Electric at Dover after 31 years of service. Possessing a love for camping, Bruce was a longtime, seasonal camper at Atwood Lake.

Bruce is survived by his three daughters, Ashli Yenni of New Philadelphia, Autumn (Dan) Brownsher of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ashante’ Yenni of Columbus; his three grandchildren, Carter Holbrook, Max Brownsher and Sophia Brownsher.

In addition to his parents, a sister, Sharon Rummes, also preceded him in death.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes, his body is to be cremated through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover and no public services are to be scheduled.

To honor Bruce, it was his wish to have memorial contributions be directed to Tuscarawas County Challenger Baseball League, P.O. Box 475, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
