Bonnie Ann Sprinkle

Bonnie Ann Sprinkle, age 69, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021, in Amberwood Manor at New Philadelphia following an extended illness.

Born in Union Hospital on February 12, 1952, Bonnie was a daughter of the late Ernest Lax and Virginia and Paul Adkins.

She was a 1970 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and began working for Miller Studio in 1971. She later retired from Sparta Ceramic in East Sparta. Bonnie enjoyed following the Cleveland Browns, the Buckeyes and watching television.

She is survived by her family that includes her siblings, Sandy (Rick) Engler and Cheryl (Barry) Shepherd all of New Philadelphia and Greg (Ida) Adkins of Georgia; her step-children, Jonathan Sprinkle, of New Philadelphia, Patrick (Melissa) Sprinkle of New York and Matthew Sprinkle of New Philadelphia; a step-grandson, Franklin Sprinkle, her neighbors, whom she considered family, Rick and Debbie McCoy and their daughters, Keeley and Kaycee. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and many life-long friends.

In addition to her father, mother, and step-father, Bonnie was preceded in death by two husbands, Floyd Bethel and Jonathan Sprinkle.

A service celebrating Bonnie’s life will be broadcast at 1 PM on Saturday, May 29, 2021, via facebook.com/geibcares. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is caring for arrangements.
