Beverly Jean (Gray) Hanna, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Bev was born in rural Linn County on August 2, 1936, to Russell and Ilie (Weaver) Gray. She graduated from Anamosa High School with the Class of 1954. She married Keith Hanna on October 28, 1956, at the Congregational Church in Anamosa. Bev was A/V secretary for Anamosa School District for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, her flowers, and her family.
Bev is survived by daughter, Kim (Jeff) Ralston, Monticello, and son, Scot (Jeanie) Hanna, Marion. Grandchildren Morgan (Ryan) Stogdill, Ashley (Kelvin) Lee, Kelsie (Mike) Wennekamp, Eric (Tori) Hanna, Amber (Jacob) Thompson, and Austin Hanna. Great-grandchildren Landon and Hannah Stogdill, Henry and Sawyer Lee, Dylan and Lane Wennekamp, Brody and Wesley Hanna, Jack, Logan, and Luke Thompson. Sisters, Wanda (Kyle) Wilson and Sheri (Bill) Hatfield, sister-in-law Karen Buehler, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Keith in 2011, her parents, her sister Joyce Westphal, her parents-in-laws Presley and Esther Hanna, and twin great-granddaughters Sophia Grace and Madelyn Marie Stogdill.
