B.B. Dickerson, bassist and co-founder of Southern California band War, dies at 71

As bassist for Long Beach’s War, Dickerson played on Latin funk-rock classics including ‘Low Rider,’ ‘Why Can’t We Be Friends’ and ‘Cisco Kid.’
