Ann Marie Johnston nee Nelson, passed away on April 1, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Richard E. Johnston. Loving Mother of Richard H. Johnston (Carol) and Allison (Mark) Strauss. Ann Marie was very proud of her Swedish heritage and a 50+ year member of the Independent Order of Svithiod. She was a long-time Cubs fan and had a quick-witted sense of humor. With respect to her wishes, there will be no service and memorial donations can be made in her honor to the ASPCA. Arrangements made with the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home in Palatine, IL.
