Alvin Leroy Butler passed away on September 20th at age 81. Visitation: 10:00 AM, Monday, September 27, 2021, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury with Service to follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel, Graveside service: 3:00 PM, Monday, September 27, 2021, Erath Gardens of Memory, Stephenville, Texas. Memorials may be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association.

Alvin was born on February 7, 1940, and was a longtime resident of Roseburg, Oregon and Granbury, Texas.

Alvin was married to the love of his life, Louellen, who he married at age 28. They had one child, Blair Lane Butler, who was the light of Al’s life. After a long career with Trammell Crow, Alvin retired to spend more time golfing and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Alvin Lloyd Butler, Mother, Geraldine Nell Marshall Butler and Brother-in-law, Larry French.

Alvin is survived by: His wife, of 54 years, Louellen Butler of Granbury, TX, His son, Blair Lane Butler and partner Monika Kaminska of Crowley, TX, Granddaughter, Brilee Addison Weger of Granbury, TX, Sisters, Shirley Darlene Butler of Prineville, Oregon, Sandi Gaylor and husband Andy of Roseburg, Oregon, and Gloria Ziegelman and husband Larry of Pacific, Washington,  Brother, Dennis Burril and wife Sharon of Roseburg, Oregon, Sister-in-Law, Karol French, and partner Jay Heffron.  He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends that love him and will miss him dearly.
