Ai Thuy Ngo

Ai Thuy Ngo, 84, of Springfield died at 8:10 pm, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born June 8, 1937 in Hanoi, Vietnam, the daughter of Dich Thuc Ngo and Hoi Thi Dinh.

She is survived by three sons, Cung Duong, Andy Trinh (Christine Banks) and Ben Trinh, all of Springfield; one granddaughter, Sarah Trinh of Springfield; one brother; two sisters; special friend, Bill Bleakley; her sponsor family the Morrison Family of Chatham and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter-in-law, Erica Trinh; one brother and one sister.

Ai was a member of Cherry Hills Church. She is graduated from Trung Vuong High School in Hanoi and went on to the University in Saigon.

She immigrated to Springfield in 1990, with the help of her sponsers from church she became a naturalized citizen in 1998. She was a seamstress at AAA Alterations, retiring in 2000, but previously worked as a teacher and taught elementary education in Saigon.

Visitation: 10-11 am, Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Chad Reeser officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
