Wayne Rowe

Today we celebrate the life of Wayne Charles Rowe, age 59, of Mississauga’s of the Credit First Nation. He peacefully embarked on a new journey to his creator on Friday, September 19th, 2025. Chuck started boxing at the age of 8 out of Branch 90 Boxing Club alongside his uncles. Chuck made many friendships and connections during his boxing career. Chuck turned pro when he was only 17 years old. He is a hometown hero, a man to be admired for his talent, strength and perseverance. Chuck maintained a witty and charming personality throughout his life; he always had a joke or playfully teased his family and friends. Chuck’s infectious smile and charismatic presence influenced and touched many over the years. He was a light in the dark, a kind hearted soul, a free spirit.
