Wayne Quisenberry, 84, husband of Gail Southworth Quisenberry, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at his home in Woodford County.
The son of Shirley and Thelma Cox Quisenberry, he was one of the original 25 people that started Rand McNally in Versailles and retired from there after 35 years. In addition to farming most of their lives, he and his wife were also antique dealers for several years. He also served on the Woodford County Board of Education and Fox Creek RECC board.
In addition to his wife of 65 years he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly (Stephen) Whitworth, son, Vaughn (Sharon) Quisenberry, grandchildren, Casey (Rachel) Quisenberry, Kelli (Tyler) Buckley, Cory (Mollie) Quisenberry, 7 great grandchildren, brother, Robert (Betty) Quisenberry, special friend, Richard Brooks, and his beloved cat, Polly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Aletta Crockett.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Rose Crest Cemetery, with Pastor Ed Nichols Officiating. Pallbearers will be Casey Quisenberry, Cory Quisenberry, Tyler Buckley, Aaron Corle, Brandon Taylor, and Kristi Grubbs. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Spaulding, Harold Lester, and Richard Brooks.
