Mrs. Wanda Jewell Tucker Eller, age 67, of Lansing, North Carolina, passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Born on November 26, 1957, in Ashe County, Wanda was the cherished daughter of the late Russell and Betty Howell Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Eller, and her sister, Debra Diane Tucker.
Wanda is survived by her devoted son, Tony Lane Eller, who resided with her; her two daughters, Angie Miller (Brian Phillips) of West Jefferson and Katrina Eastridge (Charlie) of Lansing; and her treasured grandchildren, Ivy Jones (Zeke) and Kurt Jones. She is also remembered by her brother, Allen Tucker of Lansing, her uncle, Charles Howell of Lansing, and her special friend, Katherine Sturgill.
A member of Sturgill’s Baptist Church, Wanda found great comfort and joy in her faith, often finding comfort in her beloved Bible. She had a passion for nurturing her beautiful flowers, canning, crocheting, and engaging in various crafts, which reflected her creative spirit and love for the simple pleasures in life. Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1pm at Sturgill’s Baptist Church, with Rev. Lloyd Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Sexton Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the church.
