Walter Welch

Mr. Walter Wayne Welch, age 84, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at his home.

Walter was born on December 2, 1940, in Alex, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Dace Schoolfield Welch.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years and 11 months, Janet L. Welch of Lockesburg, AR; two sons, daughters-in-law, Michael and Nancy Welch of Lockesburg, Arkansas, Matthew and Melissa Welch of Atlanta, Georgia; one daughter and son-in-law, Rochelle and James Gast of Fort Mill, South Carolina; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
