Therese Montemurro

Therese (Teri) Catherine Montemurro, originally from Sterling, Colorado, and a resident of San Jose California passed away peacefully surrounded by love at the age of 80.
She is survived by husband Theodore Montemurro her loving children Michelle Montemurro, Ted Montemurro, Christine Montemurro Ganey, two grandchildren, Theodore Montemurro and Jack Davidson, daughter in law Lonna Gwinn, son in law Brian Ganey.
Therese is the daughter of Albert Frank and Billy Kulbe. She had four siblings, sister of Priscilla Avery, Ventura CA (deceased), Albert Frank, Henderson NV, Jeanie Barber, Helena MT, and Bill Frank, Stuart, FL.
She graduated St Anthony’s High School, Class1963 in Sterling Colorado, Therese went on to obtain her BS degree as a Registered Nurse.
Retired from the Los Gatos Surgical Center as the Director of Nurses with a career spanning over 45 years. She loved her job and all the wonderful people she worked with over the many years there. Therese also enjoyed gardening and her favorite rose bushes, books, movies, shopping. spending time with her family and beloved YaYa friendship group.
Therese’s life was rich in love, family, and friends. She had a fun personality, loved to laugh, and a compassionate and nurturing heart felt by all. She had a wonderful childhood on her grandparent’s farm with many cherished memories with her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her strength and faith had carried her through a very difficult year. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Family and Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass Services on Saturday, July 12th at 12:00 PM at Holy Family Church, San Jose. 4848 Pearl Ave. San Jose 95136.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society to be considered
