Terrance Caron

Terrance ‘Terry’ Allwyn Caron, age 73 of Faribault, died on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Methodist Campus, Rochester.

Memorial services will be held at Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Nerstrand City Cemetery, Nerstrand.

Visitation will be held at Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services Friday, June 27, 2025 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Terry, the son of Allwyn and Mavis (Flom) Caron, was born on September 22, 1951 in Faribault. After Terry graduated from high school, he went to work at Nutting Truck and Caster, Donker’s Farms, and ISD 656, where he worked for 32 years.

Terry married Marilyn Louise Schauer on November 2, 1974. They raised two children together, Kari and Dawn. In his spare time he enjoyed vegetable gardening, round baling with his brothers and having coffee with the Fareway coffee group. Terry was always willing to lend a helping hand as long as there was no round baling to do.

Terry is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Kari Anne (and Kevin) Wester of Balsam Lake, WI, Dawn Elizabeth (and Patrick) McColley of Owatonna; grandchildren, Adam Raddatz, Leah Raddatz, Nathan Wester, Cecelia Wester, L ‘Elizabeth’ McColley and Sean McColley; siblings, Sandy (and Dan) Barker of Medford, Mike (and Bobbie) Caron of Medford, Kim (and Lois) Caron of Owatonna, Scott (and Connie) Caron of Kenyon and Bryan (and Diane) Caron of Faribault; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Frances Carpenter; mother-in- law, Shirley Anne Schauer; father-in-law, Merlyn Stanley Schauer; brother, Daniel John Caron; niece, Lindsey Caron.
