Teen vaping prevention to highlight Carson City Juvenile Service’s Parent Engagement Night

Youth vaping prevention will be addressed Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the Carson City Juvenile Service’s upcoming monthly Parent Engagement Night. The meeting is from 6 to 7:00 p.m. at Carson City Juvenile Services, 740 S. Saliman Road, Carson City.
Carson City Juvenile Services is partnering with Carson City Health and Human Services to talk about e-cigarettes and vaping products, the extent of the youth vaping epidemic, short-term and long-term effects of vaping, help parents talk to their children, and provide resources for quitting tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes.

Carson City Juvenile Services offers Walk-In and Crisis Intervention Services to anyone in the community in need of supportive services with their youth.
