Susan McDonough

Susan Luann Dutton McDonough, known affectionately to all as Susan, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, in her hometown of Parkersburg, WV where she was born was born on March 6, 1945.

She graduated from Parkersburg High School.Susan dedicated her life to her loved ones, particularly as a mother and grandmother, roles she cherished above all.

She shared the last 30+ years of her life with her partner, John Scocco.Susan’s love continues through her children: Michelle Stillwagon and her wife Shana, Luann Bell, and Crystal Teague. Her son, Mark McDonough, preceded her in death, leaving a space that could never be filled but always honored in memory.

Susan’s grandchildren, Jasmine Bell, Kali Bell, Hayden McGary, Chase Malone, Gage Malone, Gavin Malone, and Peyton Malone, and great-grandson Henry Jonas brought her immense joy and pride.

Susan was an avid crafter with a love for reading. Susan had an open heart for anyone and shred her kindness and help with those around her.

As we bid her farewell, we find solace in the memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

Her family invite all who knew and loved her to join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at St. Margaret Mary’s Parish Hall from 2-4pm.
