Sophie Voornas

Sophie Voornas, nee Carras, beloved wife of the late Dr. Perry Voornas. Loving mother of Christie (Ted) Papagiannis. Cherished Yiayia of Sophia and George. She is survived by her siblings Cynthia Kokkales, Jim Carras, and Joanne Cranford. Sophie was preceded in death by her devoted parents William and Kalliroy Carras and her siblings Stanley Carras and Marina Christos. Visitation Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 9:00am until time of funeral service at 9:30am at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N. Caldwell, Niles, IL 60714. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Haralambos are appreciated.
