Simon Richardson

Celebrating the life of Simon Hermanius Richardson, a man who lived life

to the fullest and whose legacy of love for his family and friends will live on

forever.

Born on April 18,1948 in Westmoreland, Jamaica (Red Hills District) to

Odelee McIntosh and Ureal Richardson, Simon was the youngest of his

five siblings Merle, Linda, Erica and Noel. A beloved husband, father,

grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many whose departure from us

leaves a huge void to those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Following a successful career as a police detective in Kingston, Jamaica,

Simon moved to the Bronx, NY where he and his wife Adline, who has

been his partner for over fifty years built a life together. Throughout the

years their home was filled with family and friends who enjoyed

summertime cookouts, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, birthday

parties, domino games and so much more.

Simon lived a fun-filled life full of adventure. He will be fondly remembered

for his larger-than-life personality, charisma, wisdom, fearless spirit, his

love of dancing and of course being the life of the party.

His memory will be cherished by his wife Adline, children Oral, Kaye,

Tamara, Donna, David and Keesha and his grandchildren Naomi, Deja-

Marie, Lily, Bobby, Janell and Jenell.

Let us not mourn but celebrate the blessings of having him in our lives.

Forever in our hearts.

May he rest in eternal peace.

He is gone from our sights but never from our hearts.
