Scott Blyler

Scott A. Blyler, 60, of Altoona, PA; passed away at home on Saturday, May 10, 2025, after a long courageous battle and complications from cancer. He was born on October 15, 1964 in Altoona, PA; a son of the late Donald “Duke” Blyler and Joann (Burkhart) Blyler.

He was previously married to Georgia (Drass) Blyler, whom he married on May 19, 1984.

Along with his ex-wife, Scott is survived by children Tiffany Burgess, Marlinton, WV; Rhadha Blyler, Ocala, FL and Jessica Shepherd, Ocala FL; cherished grandchildren Frankie Burgess, III, Devon Burgess and Joshlynn Burgess, of Marlinton, WV and Tyson Peoples, Mia Shepherd and Madison Dugan of Ocala, FL; sisters Donna Smith and Joyce Eger, Altoona, PA and Helen Weaver, Martinsburg, PA.

Scott spent his working years doing lawn care. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.

A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be held at a later date in Florida.
