Sara J. Stuebs, age 75, of Weyauwega, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, following a long struggle with cancer.  She was born on November 17, 1949 in Marshfield, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Warren and Rosemary (Fleischman) Mallo.

On October 4, 1985, Sara married Thomas Stuebs.  Sara worked for the Hortonville Canning Company and then went on to work as a Unit Clerk for St Elizabeth Hospital for 44 years before retiring.

Sara loved camping and traveling, especially going on cruises, making breakfast for friends, flower gardening, taking naps and spending time with her grandchildren.

Sara is survived by her husband, Tom; five sons, John (Denise) Parry, and their son, Ryan; Andrew (Tammy) Parry, and their children, Alexa, Noah and Nathan; Steven (Jayne) Parry, and their children, Abel  and Aurora  (Miguel)Mendez; Michael (Elena Tsarikova) Stuebs, and daughter Kristina; and Daniel Stuebs, and his daughter, Lydia; two great-grandchildren, Natalia and Camryn Mendez; her brother, William (Joan) Mallo; her sister, Jennifer (special friend, Brian) Schwirtz; three brothers-in-law, Mory(Lori)Stuebs; Jim Stuebs and Rick(Alma)Stuebs;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  

Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Rosemary;  her mother and father-in-law, Orlie and Kay Stuebs; a brother-in-law, Scott Stuebs and a nephew, Josh Mallo.

A Celebration of Life for Sara will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 2-6 PM at Waupaca County Fairgrounds Youth Building, 602 South St., Weyauwega, WI 54983.  For out of town guests, hotel reservations can be made at Cobblestone Hotel, 302 W. Main St., Fremont, (920)-551-5055.  

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

Sara’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Froedtert Hospital and St. Elizabeth Hospital for their care and compassion during the many hospital visits over the years.  It is greatly appreciated.
