Ryan Ziemke
Ryan Ziemke, age 46 of Owatonna, died on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Owatonna Hospital.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church on May 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Faribault. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are being completed by Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Faribault.
Ryan Jon was born on April 16, 1979, in Faribault. In 1987 Ryan and his family moved from Faribault to Waterville and lived on Lake Tetonka. As a child, Ryan loved being on the water and enjoyed fishing, tubing and water skiing. Ryan graduated high school from Waterville-Elysian-Morristown in 1997 and went on to attend school at the Faribault Technical College where he received a welding degree. After graduation, Ryan began working at McQuay’s, where he worked for several years. Ryan very much loved his cats and being outdoors and enjoying nature. His kind heart and smile touched many.
He is survived by his mother, Debra (David Poehler) Ziemke; grandparents, Gail and Richard Cross; aunts, Joan Jandro, Pamela Eastman, Cynthia Plotz, Mandy (Derrick) Dotterweich, Crystal Zimmerman; uncle, Jeffry (Laura) Zimmerman; cousins, Jon Eastman, Jake (Beth) Jandro, Holly (Corey) Jandro, Travis Plotz, Samantha (Roy) Plotz, Ashley Zimmerman, Tyler Zimmerman, Owen Dotterweich; many other relatives and friends.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Zimmerman and uncle, Dan Eastman.
