Rose Vazquez

Rose Mary Vazquez, 52, of Spring Valley, NY, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 18, 1972, in Nyack to the late Angelo Gonzalez and Rose Miraglio, Rose Mary lived a life defined by love, strength, and compassion.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Rose Mary was known for her boundless selflessness and unwavering spirit. She was a constant source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love—always present when she was needed most. Her presence uplifted those around her, and she served as a guiding light and inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Nelson; her children: Angel, Nereida, Vanessa, Frankie, Herman, and Chris; her cherished grandchildren: Xavier, Avery, and Amaya; and her loving siblings, Tony and Joanna.

To honor and celebrate Rose Mary’s life, a memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Chapel, 160 Orange Avenue, Suffern, NY 10901.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 129 Lafayette Avenue, Suffern, NY 10901. Procession to final resting place will follow to Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Road, Spring Valley, NY 10977.
