Ronda Younker

Ronda Sue (Forsyth) Younker, 67, of Crystal Spring, PA, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, atWellspan Chambersburg Hospital.

Born January 31, 1958, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Price Forsyth and Beverly LaRue (Ward) Forsyth.

Ronda was a 1976 graduate of Williamsport High School and previously attended Broadfording Christian Academy.

She was a homemaker and taught tole painting at various senior centers and with her nieces and nephews.

Ronda previously attended Emmanuel Baptist Temple and Mountain View Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for both churches.

In her spare time, she enjoyed going hunting with her husband, reading, and canning.  Most of all, Ronda cherished all the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Steven Younker; her daughter, Jessica Dunn (Charles); two sisters, Penny Bird (Larry) and Jody Clipp; four brothers, Jim Forsyth (Beth), Andy Forsyth (JoAnne), Dave Forsyth (Denise), and Todd Forsyth (Paige); 3 grandsons, Cain, Cash, and Colt; 2 great-granddaughters, Scarlett and Adeline; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ronda was preceded in death by a brother, Ward Price Forsyth, Sr.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 1 pm at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD.  Rev. Jeffrey Hawbaker will officiate.  Interment will follow at Parkhead Cemetery in Big Pool, MD.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm.  For the convenience of friends, you may visit the funeral home after noon.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 91891, Washington, DC 20090-1891.
