Roger Grover, Jr.

Roger Leo Grover, Jr., age 45, left this life at his Leon, Iowa home on May 9, 2025. He was born August 29, 1979, in Des Moines, Iowa to Roger Leo Grover, Sr. and Melody Jo Cowling.

Roger grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa before moving to Leon and graduating from Central Decatur High School.

He worked odd jobs over the years. He enjoyed playing games on his phone.

Preceding him in death were his father; brother, Jason Lee Soloman; and all of his grandparents. Survivors include his mother, Melody Cowling of Leon; aunts and uncles; cousins; and other relatives and friends.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements were through the Slade – O’Donnell Funeral Home in Leon.
