Robert Ayo
- May 5, 2025

Robert Dewayne Ayo, 58, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, passed away on May 2nd, 2025. Born on April 4th, 1967, in Big Spring, Texas, to Patricia and Arthur Ayo, Robert, known lovingly as “Rob,” was a man full of heart, humor, and unwavering love for his family. Rob was the kind of father whose love knew no limits. He was a rock, a gentle soul, and a light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He lived with passion, found joy in the simple things, and gave freely of his warmth and laughter.
A proud, lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Rob never missed a game and wore his team’s colors like a badge of honor. But more than anything, he loved being near the water. Whether fishing, crabbing, or simply enjoying the peace with family.
Rob leaves behind his fiancée, Eileen Quiles, with whom he shared over 20 years of deep and devoted companionship. He is also survived by his beloved mother, Patricia Ayo; his brothers, Richard (Lisa) and Michael Ayo (Ebony); and his treasured children, Jazmine Ayo, Robert Howard, Julian Ayo, Ashley Ayo, Siani Ayo, Sierra Ayo, Alexus Ayo, Zamir Ayo, Lamirra Barnes, and Zamari Ayo. He was a proud grandfather to many beautiful grandchildren who adored him, and he will be forever remembered by the extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
Rob was predeceased by his father, Arthur Ayo and his brother David Ayo.
Rob’s presence could light up any room. His laughter, his stories, his endless love—these are the gifts he leaves behind. Though our hearts ache, we will carry him with us always. May we continue to honor his life by living with the same love and joy he gave so freely.
