Ricky Roshea Linzy, 63 of Star City, AR, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 in his home. Ricky was born July 24, 1961 in Friona, TX to the late Holland F. Linzy and Marie Hurst. He was a water supervisor for the City of Star City. He was of the Christian faith and recently reaffirmed his faith. He was a volunteer fireman, loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and Jeep riding.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Holland Thomas Linzy.
Survivors include two daughters, Allison (Dan) San Roman of Maumelle and Alicia (Drew) Courtway of Ozark, MO; a step-son, Jeremy (Kimberly) Donaldson of Conway; a step-daughter, Valorie (Daniel) Vinson of St. Louis, MO; four sisters, Donna (Curtis) Hacker of Star City, Debbie Priest of Monticello, Tracy (John) Haynes of Marshall, and Karen (Tony) Hankins of Bismarck; and three grandchildren, Ellis Courtway, Ames Courtway, and Oscar San Roman.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 10:00-11:00AM at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM with Bro. Tim Forman officiating. Burial at Heflin Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jeremy Donaldson, Chris Ryall, Luke Priest, Terry Slingerland, Dustin Blasengame, and Curtis Hacker. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Blasengame, Hunter Aldridge, Hayden Haynes, Travis Hankins, and Jonathan Sorrells.
