Richard “Dick” Charles Morgan, 75 of Evart, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 at The Comfort Home in Reed City with his family at his side. Dick was born on May 30, 1950 in Reed City to John and Gena (Cass) Morgan. He enlisted in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972 and later the Army National Guard, where he was honorably discharged.
On February 22, 2003, he married Toni L. Foster in Hawaii. Spending time with family and them knowing that family came first was very important to Dick. There wasn’t anything that he would not do for them. Dick was dependable, reliable, fun loving, a caring listener with a good shoulder to lean on. He was the kind of guy that was there to cheer you up and make you feel good. He was a truck driver with an unforgettable side and who was well set in his ways.
Left with numerous memories to carry them through this difficult time are: his wife of 20 years, Toni of Evart; four children: William (Autumn) of Howell, Michael (Danielle) of Reed City, Amber (Jason) Morgan-Rehkopf of Big Rapids, and Kevin (Jen) Morgan of Hersey; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Dale (Reenie) of Evart, Ed (Judy) Of Evart, Jim (Sharon) of Sears and Dave (Audrey) of Big Rapids; two sisters-in-law, Karen and Lupe Morgan and a crazy amount of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Art and Arlo Morgan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th at the Evart Moose from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Until that time you are encouraged to leave expressions of sympathy by pressing the Tribute Wall tab on Dick’s page online at www.coreyfuneralhome.com
