Patricia Kupfner

Patricia Ann Kupfner, 81, of Parkersburg, WV died Wednesday October 29, 2025 at WVU Medicine, Camden Clark. She was born in New Orleans, LA a daughter of the late James Dudley and Laura Belle (Trippett) Johnson.

She worked as a nurse at Montgomery General and Charleston Area Medical Hospitals before retiring from Camden Clark. She helped start the Wound Care Center at Camden and ran 5 North for Dr. Nik Shah. She was a member of 4-H for many years.

She is survived by her son Charles A. Kupfner, Jr. (Stacie) of Parkersburg; two daughters Shelly Haynes and Stephanie Satterfield both of Parkersburg; grandchildren Danielle, Jonathan, Justin, Haley, and Andrew; great granddaughters Abigail, Ada, and Kimber; great grandson Brody; two brothers Mike Johnson (Kay) of St. Albans, WV and Lew Johnson of Parkersburg; two sisters Carol Lafferty (Anthony) of Parkersburg and Debbie Bibbee (Brian) of Harpers Ferry, WV; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Kupfner and son-in-law Roger Haynes.

Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery North at a later date.
