Parthenia Jones
Parthenia “Pat” Jones, 81, of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025.
Born on December 6, 1943, in Campbell County, Virginia, Parthenia was a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and enduring devotion.
She dedicated over three decades of service to Harrah’s Casino Atlantic City, where her professionalism and work ethic earned her numerous accolades. Her gentle spirit and commitment left a lasting impression on colleagues and guests alike.
A faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Parthenia served with grace and humility as a Missionary, Deaconess, and member of the Senior Choir. Her spiritual life was a guiding light—one that brought comfort, strength, and inspiration to many within her church and beyond.
Parthenia is lovingly remembered by her daughter Jacqueline Lynch; granddaughter Chantay Lynch; great-granddaughter A’bria Lynch; sister Rosa Williams; and a devoted extended family.
She held a deep and abiding love for her daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter—three generations who were the joy of her life and the heart of her world.
Though we mourn her absence deeply, we rejoice in the life she lived—one of purpose, love, humility, and unwavering faith.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 9:30am – 11:00am (Viewing) and 11:00am – 1:00pm (Services) at Shiloh Baptist Church located at 640 Philadelphia Avenue, Egg Harbor City, NJ, with interment at the Egg Harbor City Cemetery. Repast will take place at Teamsters 331 located at 1 Philadelphia Avenue, Egg Harbor City, NJ
